The borough clerk serves as a liaison between the governing body and the residents of the borough. The clerk serves as the chief registrar of voters and is the chief administrative officer in all elections held in the municipality. The clerk is the custodian of records such as ordinances, resolutions, contracts, etc.

Q: What is the procedure for having a garage sale?
A: Come to the borough clerk's office to fill out an application and obtain a permit. The fee for the permit is $5.00.

Q: How do I register to vote?
A: You can obtain a voter registration application form at the borough clerk's office.

Q: Where do I get a copy of an ordinance or a public record?
A: You can come to the borough clerk's office to fill out an OPRA request. (OPRA – Open Public Records Act)

Q: How do I make an appointment with the mayor?
A: The borough clerk's office acts as liaison and will schedule an appointment.
