Q: When do I need a rental certificate of occupancy for my home?
A: Every time you change tenants.

Q: I would like to open a new business. Is there anything i need from your department?
A:You must first receive zoning approval for that business before you can do anything.

Q: What are the days & hours of inspections for certificates of occupancy?
A: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:30 A.M. to 12 Noon.

Q: Why is a site plan waiver required for a change in ownership of a business/commercial property?
A: It is required to bring the esthetics of the property up to date.

Q: How often does the Planning/Zoning Boards meet?
A: They both meet once a month, unless a special meeting is required by the applicant. Call for information or view the “Community Calendar”.
